Frequently asked questions

Which formats are supported?
Input: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, FLV, WMV, 3GP, M4V. Output: the same list. Codec remux is used when possible for maximum speed.
Will converting reduce quality?
If input and output share the same codec, we copy streams without re-encoding (zero quality loss). Otherwise a quality preset controls the trade-off.
Is there a size limit?
Single files up to 2 GB work reliably in modern browsers. Larger files may run out of browser memory — consider splitting first.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes on iOS Safari 16+ and Chrome on Android. Conversion takes longer on mobile CPUs — short clips (< 2 min) are best.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Currently one file per run. We plan to add batch conversion soon.
Is this tool really free?
Yes, unlimited, no watermark, no sign-up. We do not send your files anywhere.
